AKA Pepper Grass, this spicy Brassica (the same family as Broccoli, Cabbage, Mustard, and Radish) is, in flavor, something like Watercress. The leaves and stems of young plants are crisp and succulent and high in water content, and the flavor is a bit spicy, similar to the closely related mustard greens. This makes for a surprisingly lively salad green.
